Books can agree with themselves and still be incomplete.

Most checks test whether the numbers match. We test whether anything is missing. Those are different questions, and only one of them catches the thing that ruins a case.

A figure that balances is not yet a finding. We check it against the chain, and we say plainly what is not yet traced. We don't publish drafts.

Nothing is trusted because one system produced it. A finding is not released until it has been re-checked by a process that did not produce it.

Capability

What Virelis does

Give us a wallet address. We return a documented account you can follow transaction by transaction: what it did, where its XLM came from, where it went, and anything not yet traced, stated plainly.

Trace, both directions

XLM followed forwards to its destination and backwards to its source, across as many hops as the trail takes. That includes movements a payment-level view alone does not show.

Reconcile to the cent

XLM in, XLM out, XLM still held. Exact on-chain values, no rounding. We only call an account complete when every remainder is traced. A total that balances is not enough.

Classify by behaviour

Each wallet is assigned a class from a small, fixed vocabulary, decided by what the wallet does, never by who is assumed to control it. Behaviour first, always.

Document permanently

We keep a standing record for the wallets in a case, versioned and cited. Findings are stated with their evidence attached, and corrected on the record when new evidence arrives.

Sovereign

Our own scripts. Our own hardware.

The tracing runs on our own scripts, on our own machines, querying the public Stellar ledger. Case files are stored on hardware we control.

An AI assistant helps review, check and organise the work, and helps write some of our tools. It reads the part of a file it is working on. Under the provider’s terms for our account, that material is not used to train AI models and is deleted within 30 days, unless the law or the provider’s safety rules require it to be kept longer.

We are moving that reading onto our own machines, and we will say so here when it is done. If this matters for your case, ask us before you send anything.

Virelis reports on-chain fact and behavioural pattern. We do not publish identities, and we do not assert conclusions that the chain alone cannot carry.

Findings that do not survive review are withdrawn on the record. Evidence that cuts against a theory is reported as plainly as evidence that supports it.
